Everything is a learning experience. I keep getting log-in attempts from people I do not know. At least this gives me something to do. I keep getting subscribers and the origin of the subscribers is non-existent. No email and completely unverified. I use the indices to look up the I.P. and it is always nefarious/vacant. The names of the email destination when searched always indicate 30-150 spam complaints, so there it is in black and white. This is about the fifth morning in a row, so I have decided to start keeping records. Have zeroed my lockout counter to enable me to tally who, what where, and when this activity occurs. Would have been wisdom to have begun the list below a couple of days ago because some of the index searches indicated origins from cell phones.

I am a newbie when it comes to using WP. Have attempted to locate any information about these “subscribers” because it would be nice to have some legitimate subscribers. Have not had a comment posted on any blog, no hello, not a single greeting. So am assuming the worst. The assumption is no problem because this is interesting. Learned about people who buy blocks of inexpensive IP addresses, and learned a bit more about black holes leading into cyber-space.
